A multi-platform booking and business product designed for salons and service businesses, with customer and business experiences across web and mobile.
Open project ↗Xalo Studio is building a broader software catalog. New products will receive dedicated pages as they become ready to announce.
Software pages should explain more than a feature list. This section describes the product thinking behind Xalo Studio apps: the problem, the workflow, the operating model and the quality checks that turn an idea into a usable product.
Before interface polish, we map the user journey: who is trying to do what, which information is required, where mistakes are costly and which steps should feel immediate. For a booking product, that means looking at discovery, availability, confirmation, changes, cancellations, staff roles and the business view as one connected flow rather than isolated screens.
This keeps the product useful for both sides of a transaction. Customer convenience matters, but so do branch operations, permissions, data consistency and the ability to support a real business after launch.
Cross-platform software evolves after the first release. We therefore treat data structure, permissions, localization, error states and account lifecycle as product requirements, not cleanup work. A feature is not considered complete only because a button works; it also has to behave correctly across roles, languages and devices.
Release preparation includes runtime testing, responsive checks, authentication flows, media handling, accessibility-minded interaction states and documented rollback points before production changes.
A smaller workflow that users understand is more valuable than a crowded screen full of disconnected options. We group features around tasks, not around technical modules.
Mobile and web behavior can differ even when code is shared. Important flows are checked on real devices and realistic account states before release decisions.
Permissions, account recovery, deletion, security checks and clear data boundaries are considered part of the product experience rather than hidden implementation details.
