Publishing is more than exporting a PDF. A credible release needs editorial review, page design, metadata, proof copies, distribution decisions and a clear separation between what is finished and what is still being prepared.
A manuscript is reviewed for structure, continuity, names, dates, repeated passages and the rhythm of longer sections. For a memoir, consistency is especially important because personal memory, chronology and emotional pacing need to support each other without turning the book into a list of events.
The current XALO publication is being prepared with the Arabic edition as the master version. Additional languages are planned only after the core edition is stable, so later translations can follow a fixed structure instead of a moving target.
A print-ready book needs margins, trim awareness, image quality, bleed decisions, cover dimensions and physical proofing. A digital edition has different navigation and rendering constraints. Treating both formats separately reduces layout surprises when the book moves between screen and paper.
Availability, ISBN choices and distribution links should only be presented as final when the release path is confirmed. Until then, this site documents the project status without inventing a launch date.
Review chapter order, chronology, repeated information, naming consistency and the relationship between text and illustrations.
Use physical proof copies to inspect trimming, contrast, paper feel and readability before committing to a larger print run.
Store links, formats and territories should be published only when the edition is actually available through those channels.
